I'm currently reading The Poppy War and was not it expecting this to be Grimdark. Fantasy, yes. Grimdark, no. While I am enjoying this book, the content it was is not easy to read. There are violence and drug use. Some themes that others may not be comfortable with. But the writings, the mythology, the politics, all of these were done so well by the author. I'm so happy that more asian inspired books are now coming out. I am here for all of them!⁣

I just finished Nimona by @gingerhazing yesterday

I just finished Nimona by @gingerhazing yesterday and really liked it. I thought the art was great and I really fell in love with the characters, especially Blackheart. He is such a sweetie pie and a marshmallow. ❤⁣

Brandon Sanderson is one of the best fantasy write

Brandon Sanderson is one of the best fantasy writers alive, to date. I am confident that whoever reads his books, whether you are new to fantasy or not, will highly enjoy the vast and intricate world he created for his books. All his series are connected one way or the other, characters from one series may appear on another in such a clever and fascinating way! I cannot wait to see the Mistborn series come into the small screen! But I'm guessing The Wheel of Time and The Lord of Rings will come first but I don't care, rights to the series are sold and I can't wait to meet my favorite characters in a different medium. FOR ANYONE STARTING TO READ SANDERSON, I RECOMMEND WARBREAKER OR THE FINAL EMPIRE. STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE IS A SERIES OF A MUCH GRANDER SCALE AND WOULD REQUIRE A LOT OF TIME AND INVESTMENT TO REALLY GET INTO. IT IS WORTH IT THOUGH. THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE IS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE.⁣
