I love lip products. If I could live off of one make up product for the rest of my life, it would have to be with having tons of lip products. Doesn’t matter if they’re lipsticks, lip tints, tinted lip balms – as long as they color my lips in pretty colors that I can change depending on my mood.

THE Q & A REVIEW:
WHAT MADE YOU BUY THE PRODUCT?
A lot of people have been raving about how good this product is on Instagram and on Youtube, so I’m like, why the hell not try it. Right? Plus, it won’t hurt to add another lip product to my collection.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE PACKAGING?
I like the packaging. I think how Skinpotions package their products are all very cute and girly. The product itself is contained in a transparent plastic container with a typical doe foot applicator. The packaging is pretty simple and sturdy. It doesn’t look cheap at all.
One thing I also really liked is that the product itself has the expiration date marked it so it wouldn’t be a struggle to keep remembering when you got it and when it’s time to let it go..
WHAT IS THE FINISH/TEXTURE OF THIS PRODUCT?
I like how this product glides on my lips. It goes on pretty smooth with no tugging. It doesn’t emphasize any of the dry patches on my lips which is great. The texture is definitely velvety. I’m not sure all the shades have the same formulation because one of the four shades I have felt a little grainy. It still applied well but when you rub your lips together, you do feel the slight graininess.
I have used this product on the cheeks as a blush as well as on the eyes as an eyeshadow and this blends like a dream. Be careful in applying too much as a dot of this product is enough for a subtle pop of color on the cheeks. You can always add more if you want as this is buildable without looking weird. This is perfect if you are into doing the drunk blush look as it doesn’t stain the skin immediately like normal cheek tints yet it gives you the same look as tints when applied on the cheeks and looks a bit healthier too.
IS IT LONG LASTING? HOW LONG BEFORE YOU HAVE TO REAPPLY?
This isn’t as long lasting as I want to. When you eat food, expect that you won’t have any lip product left on your lips after your meal. It doesn’t leave a tint as well so you definitely have to reapply. If you aren’t going to eat or anything, I guess at least 3-4 hours is about how long it lasts before I have to reapply again.
Same goes when you use this as a blush, it doesn’t stay put the whole day. I hate reapplying blush so i add another layer of powder blush on top of the same shade just to prolong the color. Unfortunately, still doesn’t hold up until end of day.
HOW MANY SHADES DO THEY HAVE?
They have a total of 16 shades now. I think they originally released 6 shades but have gradually increase as it gained more popularity. I believe they released additional shades last February as a Valentines release.
DO YOU HAVE A SWATCH OF THE PRODUCT?
The products that I have are George, Yule, Noelle, and Hollie.
HOW DOES IT LOOK ON THE LIPS?
IS WORTH THE PRICE?
Price is about 249 pesos (around 5 dollars) which I think is just about right for the quality of the product.
WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT WORKED FOR YOU?
• It is super blendable.
• Very pigmented.
• It’s multi-purpose. You can use it as eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick, of course.
• It works nicely on top of foundation or on the skin directly when used as blush.
• Doesn’t emphasize dry patches on the lips.
• Has a good variety of shades that can cater to all skintones.
• It is pretty affordable at 249 since you technically get 3 products in 1. You can’t beat that.
• Cruelty Free (if it’s important for you)
WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT DIDN’T WORK FOR YOU?
• It doesn’t last long on the lips.
• One shade has a grainy feel to it when used on the lips.
• It is not easily accessible for those who don’t have the Skinpotions kiosks inside the malls close to them. You can, however, order them online, but thay would cost shipping fee so you will pay more for what the product actually is.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT? WHY AND WHY NOT?
Would definitely recommend getting this. The fact that it works so well as an eyeshadow, blush, and a lip product is enough reason for me to recommend it. For people who hate having multiple makeup tools in your makeup bag, this is a good solution for you – a 3-in-1 product that will not break your bank and one that actually delivers on what it says it would.
